Juanita Rivas-Raymer

I started out as fine arts major and mostly painted.  As I got older and I had kids, I found it hard to paint and so I looked for other ways to create.   Since we didn't have a lot of money for paint and crafting supplies, I made due with things around the house.  Recycling became another passion along with making art, so it was a natural progression when I combined the two to crochet with plastic grocery bags.   When I am not creating or hanging out with my kids and family, I attend labors as a Birth Doula.  Birthing our babies is the most amazing experience.
